I am actively looking for self-motivated master/Ph.D. students who are interested in the research area of cyber-physical systems, particularly those mission-critical CPSs with timing, reliability, and security requirements. I am currently interested in designing novel and emerging IIoT systems by incorporating 5G/6G and TSN technologies to satisfy the stringent QoS requirements.
Interested in a PhD? You sure?
Requirements: Applicants to the master/PhD program are expected to hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Communications Engineering. Our lab’s research spans both theoretical analysis and system-level implementation, candidates should demonstrate strength in either of the following areas:
- Mathematical foundations, such as optimization or operations research; or
- Strong programming and system-building skills.
Having prior publications is not required. Relevant research or project experience that aligns with our topics is often the most direct way to demonstrate a good fit. For other admission requirements (e.g., GRE and TOEFL/IELTS), please check here.
Application: If you are interested in these positions, please feel free to email me. Below are some suggestions for preparing the email.
- Please attach your CV and highlight your research experience and publications (if any).
- I suggest you take a look at my publication list and get a sense of my work. Then please describe why you think we are a good match in research.
- I will carefully read every email and try my best to reply to all of them.
